Drews Movie Evaluation

By Drewbo
This is my evaluation for my entire project, which has finally come to and end.

Movie Filmed

By Drewbo
This is my movie, without sound editing, but with mistakes and outtakes emitted. This shows how the movie should look, and almost exactly looks like the storyboard, save for some bits which were added in. I believe it came out well, and tomorrow I will begin to edit it and change sound levels, add sounds (which will be royalty free sounds) and edit some text in.

Pre-Filming

By Drewbo
I decided not to use any blood, or weapons, due to the fact there are restrictions on what I can and can't have in my movie because of crime rates (using a knife with lots of knife crime promotes knife crime). Also, using fake blood in the dark is a foolish move, so I decided not to waste ingredients on it.

I have recruited 1 person to help me to create my movie, my friend Slaine Preston. He will play the victim, and dress in casual clothing, I will also dress casually, because of the simple fact it saves time and money looking for an elaborate monster costume. Filming begins tonight when it gets dark, which will be soon.

Storyboard Questionnaire

By Drewbo
After asking various people about what they thought of my storyboard, 19 out of 20 said that it was good. Unfortunately, 1 person said it wasn't, and I questioned as to why they gave me that answer.

Upon interviewing my friend Zac on why he thought this, he told me the following:

"Your storyboard was good, but not detailed enough, I didn't get a good enough idea of what was happening because you used stick men. Instead you should put more effort into your drawings, and through them, convey your thoughts."

I do accept this creative criticism, however, I have already began filming my project, and due to other activities getting in the way lately, I don't think it is worth remaking my storyboard just to make it look more aesthetically pleasing.

The Filming of other scenes (Today I began to film the scene on top of the hill) will begin in a few days, due to other pressing issues I must attend to. However, I have already encountered a problem with filming. Due to the angle I wanted to shoot, it seemed I would need it to be light for me to show up on the camera as I look down on the streets of my neighbourhood. Since I couldn't do this, I merely shot a P.O.V shot which looked at the streetlights and houselights of the nearby estates.
